THE NATIONAL ARTISTS OF THE PHILIPPINES is aimed at introducing to readers everywhere lives that are the country’s most important treasures. Their accomplishments are a source of pride and inspiration. They struggled against difficulties to achieve perfection in their art. They are undying proof that the Filipinos can achieve excellence and can be among the world’s best. They are models, especially for the youth.

Most of the articles make for informative and entertaining reading as they present the human side of the subject as well as the importance of their achievements. This collection is actually addressed to a wide readership.
