Roberto "Boboy" Salonga is a driven and ambitious young kid who frequently gets into trouble in school because of his controversial family background and his hot blooded personality, a trait his father cannot help but associate with notorious ASIONG. Boboy's eventual brushes with the law however are not of his own making. He never dreams of becoming a gangster like ASIONG and in fact, silently he worships his father. He however begins to feel disillusioned with his family's inability to rise up the social strata and out of the depressed environment of Tondo. Fate plays its ugly tricks on Boboy. Expelled in school, Boboy ends up in bad company of misguided hoodlums. |
