DARNA AT DING (Vilma Santos) Darna at Ding, Vilma's fourth and final portrayal of Darna, takes her to another wild adventure, this time with her younger brother Ding (Niņo Muhlach). DARNA: ANG PAGBABALIK (Anjanette Abayari) Young country girl Narda (Anjanette Abayari) leads a secret double life as the crime fighting Darna. While trying to find her grandmother and little brother, Ding, Narda is viciously struck in the head and the stone that furnishes her power is stolen. The culprit is Valentine Adan (Cherie gil), a televangelist who claims that only she can protect the city from an advancing lahar. Valentine's obviously dark intentions become more and more apparent and Narda discovers that the woman is actuallu the daughter of Valentina (Pilita Corales), Darna's archenemy. Before the inevitable face-off with Valentine, darna gains a new ally when she helps police lieutenant Max Ablan (Edu Manzano) foil a bank robbery and, later, a kidnapping perpetarted by mob boss Magnum (Bong Alvarez). Driven by their curiousity, they approach it and they find a stone which unknown to them, will change their lives foreve. The magical stone gives Narda the power to be Darna. Darna meanwhile is a superhero who fights the satanic forces headed by Dominico Lipolito (Edu Manzano) who disguises himself as a philanthropist. In his visit to the country, Dominico recruits renowned fashion icon Valentina (Pilar Pilapil) and public school teacher Purita Consunji (Bing Loyzaga) to help him in his mission to spread evil. But one day, they attack a children's camp which unmasks them and their true purpose of propagating harm and chaos. They also hyptonize Darna and entice her to promulgate their cause.
