In celebration of my 10th year in songwriting business, I would like to share with you the actual recording which made me the first Asian to win one of the top prizes in the USA Songwriting Competition. It's a big deal to me that the only song I ever entered into a contest with just a piano accompaniment and my vocal on it was recognized and appreciated among more than 31,000 song entries worldwide. I had mistakenly assumed that songwriters and peers from the music business were the only people capable of appreciating this piece of work until I sang it on MartinLate@Night, and KCFM's Chico and Delamar played it on their morning program on Valentine's Day two years in a row. I was pleasantly surprised by positive feedback from different people who wanted to hear this melancholic song again and asked where and how they could get their own copy of the recording. Well, here it is, finally. Sorry to have kept you waiting. =) I have added four other songs to give you even more value for your money-- three originals ("What's It Gonna Take", "His Angel" and "Learning") and one remake of a Christmas song ("This Little Child") originally recorded by Joey Albert, who was the very first artist to record a song of mine ten years ago and started the ball rolling for my career.
