Nino is a self-starter who now lives a comfortable life. He feels that whatever he has achieved, he owes to no one else but himself. He has isolated himself from the people around him-- including his family and is in fact afraid of commitment. Joanna, meanwhile, is a cheerful person who has made a career out of joining all sorts of contests-- from singing contests to game shows. When Joanna applied as Nino's assistant, Nino noticed the luck Joanna brought him so he decided to hire her.
