I’ve been writing this column for nine years. Eight if you factor in my one year “sabbatical”. I took half of last year and half of this year off to start a magazine. It died. My topics usually fall under these categories: movies, books, bizarre/infuriating/annoying current events, travel, weird theories, house cats, and my favorite topic, myself. Often I write about nothing. When people point this out I say, “It’s postmodern!” I don’t know exactly what postmodernism is, but no one else does, anyway. |
